Connect your
WordPress.

Sign in to WeBlog, then connect a WordPress site you control. These are two separate accounts.

  1. Install the connector

Download the plugin below. In your WordPress dashboard, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the ZIP, install it, and activate WeBlog Connector.

    Download WeBlog Connector · 0.1.0

    WordPress 6.2+ · PHP 7.4+ · HTTPS required · GPL-2.0-or-later

  2. Create an Application Password

In your site's Users → Profile → Application Passwords, create one named WeBlog. Use a WordPress account allowed to edit posts. Publishing also requires that site's publishing permission.

Keep this password private. It is separate from your usual WordPress sign-in password.

  3. Connect from the app

In WeBlog's Blog tab, choose Connect blog. Enter your site's HTTPS address, your WordPress username and the Application Password. WeBlog verifies the account and plugin before saving the encrypted connection.

  4. Choose what to publish

Draft and review your post, select the connected site, categories and visibility, then explicitly publish. Future edits to a linked post keep its WordPress post ID.
